The Cage

The Cage would seem like more a torture to me than anything. How is it that you could live your day normally know that your family is sitting in a windowless room with no idea of what is going on, on the other for side for years and years. Wouldnt the fact that the Sultan doesnt care about his own famaily, how does that show that he would care about other people...when the people came out of the cage, your would have such a little time to prepare to become the new Sultan.  Most the time when a Sultan just came into power, he would always have a little for that one.

The Battle of Gallipoli

I think that the fact the Allies and Central power had to fight for Gallipoli is stupid.  Not only did the British have to go through the sea to try and conquer it, but they had to endure sea mines and the Turk's artillery strikes.  The Turks had a major advantage over the British because they knew the mountainous region well.  

The Trenches!

The trenches must have been unbearable.  Having to deal with lice and rats the size of chihuahuas would be a very scaring event. Also the fact that you would at some point have to face yours fears on the front lines.  Having to leave your wife and kids if you had them, would be difficult, especially going into those kinds of conditions.  Another thing to think about is all the men going to the bathroom right where you have to walk and you have to smell all that nastiness.  Not to mention the rations, or should I say the lack of rations.

The plans....

At this point in time I think Germany's plan is better thought out than France's. Not only is Germany going through Belgium but they went to the back part of Paris also, sorta like a sneak attack.   France only went straight into germany, head on.  Also after the Germans slaughtered the French, they would just take their troops straight up to Russia afterwards.  Germany thought it would take Russia 6 weeks to mobilize thier army, which was just enough time to take out the French.  The fact that Germany thought they could defeat France in 42 days, shows that they are truely confident about themselves.
