Pearl Harbor

I think the fact that the Japanese could pull off bombing one of our biggest navel bases is interesting.  I cant believe how they got away with it though considering we were the ones supply their ammo, guns, and oil.  When we cut their oil supplies, we had to have know that they were going to do something to retaliate. I also find it interesting that all our aircraft carriers were away at the exact day that we were bombed. Did we really know about it.  

The Pacific

Question 5:

I think that young Marines teach each other a lot of valuable techniques.  IT may seem weird to say considering neither have that much experience, but I feel like each man has a different history and it makes them who they are, therefore allowing them to share their stories.  Not only do they have stories to share about themselves that might help but they also have stories they might have heard from a family member. Also they are there to help if another man in there group gets hit, they dont leave any men behind, most of the time even if it means they put their own life in danger. 

Rain? Shine?

I find it really weird that everytime a was is going on...the weather determines which direction the war is going to end up.  Hitler let the weather determine that he wasnt going to send his 3rd wave of planes for the reason that they werent going to be able to land which he wouldnt have known that unless he tried. He think that to him taking out a lot of British would be worth losing a couple of his soldiers. 

Poor Little HItler(weird to say)

I find it weird to say that I feel bad for Hitler, but there is a part of me that does feel the slightest bit bad for him. It doesnt justify his actions but I cant even imagine losing both my parents at a young age, or when his dad was alive being beaten by him.  You always hear about kids losing their minds if they have an abusive adult in their life.  Also being rejected by that art institute probably didnt help the fact, or that a Jewish doctor was the one treating his mom just before she died.  If you think about it all these things would have a major impact on someones life and how they decide to live it. But all means none of these things justify or make what he did right. 

The Treaty of Versailles

I think that the way the Allies got Germany to agree to the treaty was wrong on their part.  I honestly think that by doing what they did, they are acting more like the Germans did than they thought they were.  I defiantly think that the treaty was a revenge more than anything else. Not only was it to get back at German but also to make sure they know that they cant push other countries around like that or else they will have something else to deal with.  Even though I think that it was wrong of the Allies to force German into the treat I do however think that German did need to be punish but I do not think they picked the right punishment.
